What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Develop new sales leads by prospecting and pursuing targeted new business through calls and visits to potential customers

Negotiate and close new sales contracts and service agreements to achieve customer base growth

Build and leverage relationships with businesses and industry entities to cultivate new business prospects

Actively participate in industry organizations to enhance professional networking

Follow up with new accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and fulfillment of services

What is Required (Qualifications)

Minimum of 5 years of business-to-business sales experience

Some college education or equivalent experience (Business-related Bachelor’s Degree preferred)

Excellent verbal communication skills, including negotiation and persuasion abilities

Professional demeanor with an enthusiastic and positive attitude

Basic understanding of oil and gas-fired appliances and related distribution systems (training provided)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Industry knowledge in propane or energy distribution

Experience in customer service roles

Familiarity with renewable energy solutions

Strong networking skills within related industries

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
