JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Minnesota Twins Baseball Club is accepting applications for a Full-Time Certified Athletic Trainer for the Minor League System. The entry-level position is for our Dominican Academy, Dominican Summer League, in Boca Chica, DR. Full benefit plan will be provided along with CEU opportunities.
Responsibilities
Cover season, camps and activities in Boca Chica, DR.
Prevent and care for injuries for our athletes.
Coordinate & facilitate physician appointments.
Maintain proper medical records within the EMR system and perform reporting procedures.
Fulfill various administrative duties as assigned.
Interact daily with High Performance Staff, team Physicians, staff/front office, and players.
Work hours vary; must be able to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours if needed.
Contract starts November 1 and ends October 31.
Qualifications
NATABOC Certified and in good standing with the NATA.
Energetic, hard-working, and able to communicate effectively with players, medical team, and baseball operations.
Under the guidance of the Latin American Medical Coordinator, Director of Minor League Medical Services, and Medical Director.
Prior baseball experience is preferable.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is recommended.

Travel logistics: The Twins will be responsible for transportation to and from the Dominican Republic; applicant must have a valid passport required for travel outside the United States and/or visa.
Applicant should be willing to relocate to Boca Chica, DR for the assignment period.
Work schedule and housing details to be arranged with the club.
