Overview

Sr. Inside Sales Representative, FDO – Vertiv. The Sales Support Representative, FDO is responsible for supporting the sales team in assisting customers through the entire sales cycle, maintaining and expanding existing customer accounts, and acting as the primary interface between the office and sales operations and the order entry functions. Responsibilities

Works with the sales team to develop and grow the sales pipeline to consistently meet revenue goals. Builds quotes to bid on new business opportunities and generates incremental revenue. Conveys prospective and lost revenue to Outside Sales Representative and General Manager immediately. Develops database of customers within defined market segments with sales and Vertiv marketing. Collaborates with marketing on promotional material generation and communications to customers as needed. Coordinates with the sales team for key sales events (tradeshows, distributor showcases, Lunch-N-Learn programs) and office event scheduling. Reviews order acknowledgements for accuracy and tracks orders for shipments, coordinating with outside sales and traffic for special handling or expediting. Monitors order status for accounts on credit/contract hold and assists customers with credit/accounting questions. Reviews inventory, shipping deliveries and manufacturing timelines to ensure delivery meets customer expectations. Leverages internal data sources and proactively uncovers contacts from external sources. Coordinates with resellers and Vertiv field sales teams on opportunities. Generates, updates and tracks CRM opportunities, responds to requests from assigned region(s) in a timely manner. Assists with post‑sales actions, invoicing disputes resolution, and other duties as needed. Minimum Qualifications

BA or BS required (Business, Engineering, Marketing, Communications preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience. 1+ years of work experience. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent customer service, organizational, and analytical skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of technology including software, hardware, and/or networking is preferred. Proficient in MS Office. Preferred Qualifications

2+ years of sales or account management experience. Experience working with IT resellers. Experience with CRM management. Proficient with MS Visio. Experience with order entry tools like Oracle or Salesforce. Travel
