Inside Sales Rep

ePlus inc. Overview The ePlus Inside Sales Rep (ISR) serves as a key member of a sales team responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing customer relationships while maximizing margin dollars. The ISR proactively provides hardware, software, and services solutions to customers, focusing on profit and customer experience. Building and maintaining client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and account longevity is essential. Key Responsibilities Research and quote sales opportunities, ensuring customer requirements are met with optimal profit margins. Support project opportunities and ongoing business activities, including quoting, ordering, and post-order support. Coordinate with engineering for BOM design and validation. Assist with deal registration and pricing negotiations. Enhance sales opportunities with warranties, services, accessories, and supplies. Maintain CRM entries related to opportunities and requests. Manage customer orders to ensure timely delivery. Use customer portals for proposal requests, PO confirmations, and shipping info. Proactively resolve problems at customer and supplier levels. Develop relationships with customers, vendors, and partners. Identify opportunities to expand ePlus's footprint within accounts. Provide sales and customer reports as needed. Maintain knowledge of key products and services. Represent ePlus professionally and courteously in all communications. Qualifications Preferred 4-year degree. Preferred 1+ years in IT industry. At least 1+ years of sales or customer service experience. Self-motivated, results-oriented, with excellent communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks under deadlines. Exceptional customer service and organizational skills. Willingness to learn new technologies and processes. Problem-solving skills and good judgment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Position Details The starting hourly salary ranges from $16.83 to $26.44, depending on experience and location. Compensation may include commissions and bonuses, along with benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
