About The Role As a Segment Account Manager, you’ll be part of a team of self-motivated, high achieving sales professionals helping our largest accounts to grow their businesses. By providing industry-leading solutions, you’ll drive some of the most exciting new technology in fintech while advancing the way the world pays, banks and invests.
What You Will Be Doing Manage key client relationships with Enterprise Account Manager (EAM) at key relationship levels (client owners of the FIS spend) within a specific customer business and/or regional location, aimed at driving maximum value for FIS and value of FIS for the client. Accountable for orchestrating sellers into the account aimed at revenue growth, supporting renewal activities and revenue retention, and aligning shared services / resources engaged on the account.
Client Engagement
Primary FIS relationship owner for assigned account(s) with objective to simplify engagement with FIS
Understands client vision/strategy as a business, financial expectations and compliance/reg disposition for purpose of delivering value through alignment with FIS objectives and capabilities
Executive alignment and presence in client discussions with senior executives
Maintains proper balance and perspective between growth activities and service initiatives
Cultivates new business opportunities through executive and critical relationship alignment
Internal and Governance
Orchestrates and collaborates with vertical sellers into the account(s) aimed at delivering on strategic needs
Work alongside vertical sellers to structure, negotiate and close strategic opportunities, engaging necessary resources to aid in the process (product, marketing, etc.)
Uncovering new opportunities to be delivered to vertical sales teams and support closing activities
Collaborate within FIS (and CX) to ensure any escalations and issues are handled/resolved appropriately
Bridging clients and FIS strategies
Engages and orchestrates FIS executive alignment needed for clients strategic and business needs
Develops and executes on account plans to ensure goals and objectives are met
Establish a value proposition for a strategic set of targets, aiming to deliver client value beyond traditional product/Solution selling
Maintain all appropriate data and system elements required to understand client landscape and opportunities
What You Will Need
Extensive experience as a Sales Executive and/or Account Manager in FinTech or financial services
At least 10 years of experience interacting and partnering with senior management
Understanding of (investment) banking operations, technology and change landscape
