Senior Manager, Risk Guide- Enterprise Services Risk

As a Senior Manager Risk Guide Leader supporting EPX, you will partner with colleagues across product, tech and other risk teams to deliver results that have a direct impact on internal and external customer experience and implement risk solutions to ensure Capital One’s continued stability and success. Responsibilities require partnering with a broad set of leaders and stakeholders to identify existing and potential emerging risks in an open, collaborative environment where new ideas and solutions are both welcomed and rewarded.* Partner with Product and Tech teams, leveraging a trusted advisor model to support business initiatives, issue management, process improvement, control testing and related risk assessment activities* Assist Tech and Product Risk leadership in delivering against their strategy and services* Develop a deep understanding of business strategies, products, services, and risk profile* Be able to evaluate the technical products and risk slope efforts based on technical and cyber impacts.* Implement process improvements: process certification framework, process hierarchy change management, change control, and risk reporting* Ensure independent escalation of risk management gaps, issues, and concerns, including emerging risks and regulatory focus areas* Consult on Risks across the first line of defense business partners providing advice and guidance as needed* Participate in processes criticality assessments and process level assessments* Manage multiple tasks independently to meet deadlines* Communicate complex ideas concisely and convincingly, adjust communication to the audience and comfortable with presenting to executive leadership.* Collaborative, values diverse perspectives and seeks insights from others. Brings energy to the group and rallies them around a common goal.* High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Certification* At least 5 years of experience in Risk Management, Process Management, Project Management, or a combination* At least 5 years of experience in a technical domain or with technical products* At least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering, and interacting with internal and external business clients* Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience* Risk Certifications (CRISC, CISM, CRCM, CIPP, ABA Risk Management Certification)* At least 6 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal stakeholders* At least 3 years of Financial Services industry experienceCapital One offers a comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive set of health, financial and other benefits that support your total well-being.
