Financial Planner
role: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Financial Planner to support advisors and clients by ensuring smooth operations, assisting with financial planning, and delivering exceptional client experience for a privately-owned wealth management firm.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare financial planning analyses to support advisors in client meetings.
Reconcile daily price and transaction downloads, troubleshooting discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
Coordinate account openings, transfers, and ongoing maintenance with custodians and external partners.
Manage and update client information in the CRM database.
Assist with quarterly client reporting and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Execute trades in client accounts as a backup to traders when necessary.
Maintain internal tracking systems and spreadsheets to support team operations.
Provide general administrative support, including managing supplies and vendor coordination.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Financial Planning, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
3-7 years of experience in financial services, preferably within wealth management or custodial roles.
CFP or in the process of obtaining.
EMoney software experience is a plus
Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs; familiarity with CRM systems
Ability to learn and adapt to new software quickly and efficiently.
Demonstrated ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality results.
Positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and interest in a long-term career in wealth management.
Proven track record of success in academics, community involvement, or previous work experience.
