Position Summary

Assists management with the supervision of associates in assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties to associates communicating goals and feedback training associates on processes and procedures providing direction and guidance to associates on member service approaches and techniques to ensure member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures supporting the Open Door Policy: and participating in recruiting hiring scheduling promoting coaching and evaluating associates What you'll do

Communicates and supports membership by providing information on membership types programs and benefits to current and prospective members Processes memberships upgrades and credit accounts Encourages membership renewals participating in sales and marketing events Completes and maintains marketing recaps and other required documentation Strives to meet membership goals and promotes the value of Sams Club products and services Provides and ensures member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs Assists members with purchasing decisions locating merchandise and guidance on self-service technology Assists members with transactions utilizing registers or self-checkout area and ensures club pick up orders are filled Oversees assigned area by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, identifying shrink and damages Organizes and maintains availability of carts/flatbeds, assists members with transporting items, and maintains parking lot cleanliness Completes accounting records, files transactions, and other required documentation following accounting office procedures Provides funds for proper register operation, creates and interprets financial analysis reports, assists with accounting-related investigations Prepares daily deposits and oversees Cash Fund Transfers; investigates overages and shortages in cash drawers Maintains confidentiality and accuracy of financial and personal information Develops and implements processes to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers and other partners Analyzes information from multiple sources, monitors progress and results and addresses improvement opportunities Demonstrates and supports compliance with company policies, procedures and ethics; explains, guides and demonstrates how to apply these in executing business processes Leads and participates in teams by coordinating work, providing advice, feedback and support to meet timelines and quality Models and helps others adapt to change or new challenges Respect the Individual

https://bit.ly/3iOOb1J . The hourly wage range for this position is $22.00 to $30.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Minimum Qualifications

6 months retail experience including operating front-end equipment (e.g., cash register) 6 months customer service experience Must be 18 years of age or older Preferred Qualifications

Leading a front-end team; supervising experience to include hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others Primary Location
