Responsibilities
Conduct audits of client data to identify and document billing compliance issues
Utilize audit tools and Microsoft Excel to analyze claims for over and under-payments
Collaborate with the audit team to share findings and enhance knowledge within the group
Ensure compliance with Cotiviti policies, HIPAA laws, and other regulatory requirements
Participate in onboarding and training of new hires and assist in cross-training efforts
Qualifications
High School Diploma required
2-4 years of related experience in the healthcare industry preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interest in working with large data sets and databases
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field
2-3 years of experience with Cotiviti or similar organizations
Familiarity with Medicaid claims and healthcare regulations
Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
Previous experience in auditing or data analysis roles
