8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday As a reimbursement analyst and accountant at Salem Health, you will play a key role in financial analysis, accounting, and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities include analyzing reimbursement trends, preparing and validating financial reports, supporting audits, and managing key accounting functions such as journal entries, reconciliations, and regulatory filings. You'll also handle ad-hoc projects and stay current on Medicare and Medicaid regulations to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting. Your role with us

involves the following responsibilities: Analyze expected reimbursement and contractual write-offs across all payer sources for Salem Hospital and West Valley Hospital. Prepare and validate monthly revenue, variance reports, and financial statement components for both hospitals. Support accounting functions including annual 990 filing, unclaimed property, employee health reserve accounting, and audit preparation. Manage data preparation and annual audits for governmental cost reports related to Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement. Perform monthly reconciliations, journal entries, and variance reviews to ensure accurate financial reporting. Stay up to date with Federal and State regulatory changes impacting reimbursement and take necessary compliance actions. Lead or support special projects, ad-hoc reporting, corporate credit card administration, and other assigned financial tasks.
