Government and Public Sector - FAAS - Senior Manager Our GPS-FAAS team is growing exponentially, and as a Senior Manager you will play a key role in that growth. You will work across Federal GPS sector service lines, develop strategic goals, and focus on understanding client needs to provide an exceptional experience with no off-the-shelf recommendations. Your Key Responsibilities

Operate in a dynamic environment where no two projects are the same; think on your feet and challenge existing practices to address complex issues. Collaborate with colleagues across multiple service lines, build relationships, and identify opportunities to apply EY capabilities to client needs. Travel regularly to meet key clients, some of whom are leaders in their fields. Direct field work, inform supervisors of engagement status, and manage assurance staff performance. Develop and maintain strong working relationships with audit client personnel, assess client satisfaction, and maintain ongoing contact throughout the year. Demonstrate understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations. Develop people by delegating tasks, providing guidance, and delivering performance feedback and reviews for assurance staff. Contribute ideas to the assurance teams, listen to others, and foster an efficient, innovative, team‑oriented work environment. Leverage technology to continually learn, share knowledge, and enhance service delivery. Develop an understanding of EY service lines and encourage team members to contribute ideas and identify opportunities to apply firm services. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business with 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in Federal US GAAP. U.S. CPA license in the candidate’s work state. Excellent project management, communication, and negotiation skills; a collaborative management approach. Proven track record in managing, mentoring, and improving a high-performing team; strong dedication to teamwork and leadership. Integrity in a professional environment. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Willingness to work at client, EY, or contractor sites as required; travel approximately 25% to 30% or more in a hybrid environment. What We Offer You

Comprehensive compensation and benefits; base salary range in the US is $145,200 to $331,800; NYC Metro/Washington State/California ranges are $174,300 to $337,000. Total Rewards include medical/dental coverage, pension and 401(k), and paid time off options. Hybrid model with most client-serving roles expected to work in-person 40-60% of the time over a project or year.
