Overview
Government and Public Sector - FAAS - Senior Manager at EY. The GPS-FAAS team is growing, and as a Senior Manager you will play a key role across Federal GPS sector service lines, developing strategic goals and delivering an exceptional client experience in a field with no off-the-shelf recommendations. Responsibilities
Lead and direct audit field work, inform supervisors of the engagement status, and manage assurance staff performance. Develop and maintain strong relationships with audit client personnel; assess client satisfaction and proactively maintain contact throughout the year. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex accounting and auditing concepts and apply them to client situations. Develop people by delegating audit tasks and providing guidance to assurance staff; provide performance feedback and performance reviews. Contribute ideas to assurance teams and listen to/view feedback from other team members; foster an efficient, innovative, and team-oriented work environment. Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with assurance team members, and enhance service delivery. Collaborate with colleagues across multiple service lines and identify opportunities for clients to benefit from the firm\'s broader capabilities. Travel as required to meet with key clients, including those at high levels in their fields. Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in accounting, finance, or business; 7 years of progressive post-baccalaureate work experience with Federal US GAAP. U.S. CPA license in your work state. Excellent project management, communication, and negotiation skills with a collaborative management style. Proven track record of mentoring and improving a team of high-performing professionals. Strong dedication to teamwork and leadership; integrity within a professional environment. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Willingness to travel 25%–30% or more in a hybrid environment; work may be required at client, EY, and/or contractor sites. Ideally, CGFM and/or CDFM. What We Look For

Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a Total Rewards framework. Salary ranges vary by location; example ranges: general US range $145,200–$331,800 and NYC Metro/WA/CA range $174,300–$337,000. Salaries are determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. Medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off are included. Hybrid model with most client-facing roles requiring in-person collaboration 40–60% of the time.
