Overview
Role Snapshot: The Treasury Analyst is responsible for assisting the Treasury department in managing the company's liquidity and partnering with outside advisors to manage the investment portfolios. The role is responsible for recording and reporting cash and investment activity in compliance with accounting regulations. The Treasury Analyst will help ensure that the company’s financial resources are efficiently allocated and help mitigate financial risks. Salary
$60,000 - $75,000 The base pay offered for this position may vary within the posted range based on your job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Work Location
Hybrid work location: the regional office is in Madison, WI. Onsite work will be tailored for team cohesion, strategy, planning and collaboration. Office: WPS Corporate Center Building, 1717 W. Broadway, Madison, WI. In This Role You Will
Monitor daily cash flow, income, liability obligations, and assets to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs. Support the Financial Planning team on the development of cash flow forecasts. Develop, monitor, and analyze bank fees including credit card and cash management expenses. Support corporate accounting and financial planning as they relate to Treasury transactions and entity structures. Serve as Treasury liaison with the company’s business units for the setup of bank accounts, services, and resolution of bank inquiries and related matters. Develop and maintain positive banking relationships with depository banks. Adhere to month end schedules for reconciliations of all cash and investment related accounts, all month-end processes, and related journal entries. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash positioning reports. Provide support for internal and external audits. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual investment compliance and performance reporting. Assist with presentation materials for Executive Leadership, Board of Directors, and regulatory bodies. What this opportunity is about

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 3+ years of experience in treasury, banking or corporate finance. Solid knowledge of financial markets and investment instruments. Solid knowledge of GAAP. Experience with accounting general ledger and month-close processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills for internal reporting and external stakeholders. Attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and financial modelling). Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with treasury management and ERP systems. Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with NAIC and statutory accounting regulations. Remote Work Requirements
