Police Accreditation Manager The Police Accreditation Manager performs a variety of administrative work supporting the Police Department, reporting to the Chief of Police. This role involves managing agency activities related to national accreditation, developing compliance proofs, preparing documentation, maintaining databases, coordinating assessments, and working with police staff on policy review.

Manage and coordinate agency activities related to CALEA accreditation standards.

Develop proofs of compliance, prepare documentation, and maintain records.

Coordinate on-site assessments and inspections.

Track submission of CALEA reports and work with staff on policy review.

Participate in conferences with police leadership on accreditation matters.

Assist with research and evaluation of department programs.

Recommend policy or procedural changes based on data analysis.

Compose and edit reports, correspondence, and other documents.

Perform other duties as directed by the Chief of Police.

Qualifications Knowledge of law enforcement principles, practices, and management; state and local laws; and modern office practices. Ability to create reports, maintain records, operate office equipment, and communicate effectively. Requires an associate degree in criminal justice or related field, at least three years of law enforcement experience or equivalent, a valid North Carolina driver license, and passing a background check.

The salary is up to $67,135.66 per year, paid bi-weekly, with potential increases after probation. The position is open until filled.
