Park Industries is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant/Analyst to drive financial insights for operational excellence.
Overview
Senior Cost Accountant/Analyst: driving financial insights for operational excellence. You will be the primary business partner to the Manufacturing team, leading cost accounting functions, analyzing inventory performance, and delivering insights to strengthen cost control and overall financial success. What You’ll Do
Financial Business Partnering: Collaborate with Manufacturing teams to analyze costs, review inventory and purchase variances, and lead monthly reviews with manufacturing leadership—providing recommendations to improve performance. Standard Costing Leadership: Manage and maintain the standard costing system, including labor, overhead, and freight calculations. Coordinate and complete monthly, quarterly, and annual cost rolls. Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and present monthly/quarterly reports and metrics, leveraging tools like Power BI to automate and enhance reporting. Process Improvement: Lead initiatives that strengthen cost accounting practices and support cross-functional system projects in partnership with IT. Financial Close & Audit: Complete monthly journal entries, reserve estimates, and other close activities. Serve as the lead contact for inventory-related audit processes and prepare supporting work papers. Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with Manufacturing teams to prepare annual budgets, analyze results against targets, and present findings to drive informed decisions. Systems Expertise: Provide JD Edwards cost accounting support for Finance and cross-functional teams. As a Senior Cost Accountant/Analyst, you’ll work standard business hours from Monday to Friday, with the potential for a hybrid work arrangement. Experience And Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field (required) 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, or equivalent education and experience (required) Prior experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred) Why Join Us

In accordance with pay transparency regulations, the anticipated starting salaried rate for this position ranges from $63,000.00 to $85,000.00. Please note that the salaried range provided is an estimate and not a guarantee; the final offer will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, location, and assigned shift. Full-time employees may also be eligible for variable compensation, company-wide incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package.
