KPMG US . KPMG is seeking a Senior Manager/Director to join our Estates, Gifts, and Trusts group within the Washington National Tax (WNT) practice. At KPMG, you will be part of a dynamic team in a collaborative, future-forward culture that emphasizes client service, technical excellence, and professional development. The firm provides access to its Ignition Centers and a broad network of specialists to deliver innovative tax solutions for high-profile clients. Responsibilities and qualifications below reflect the required scope of the role.

Responsibilities Work closely with KPMG professionals from offices across the country and with KPMG International member firms to advise clients on planning and compliance matters involving estate and gift tax, generation-skipping transfer tax, fiduciary income tax, and international transfer and trust tax.

Support the Private Enterprise and Family Office Practice, collaborating with owners of privately held businesses and family offices on estate and trust planning matters.

Prepare technical analyses and memoranda, private letter ruling requests, and tax opinions.

Collaborate with other groups within WNT.

Instruct internal firm courses and contribute articles to the firm’s knowledge base.

Qualifications Minimum eight years of recent estate, gift, and trust tax experience with a law firm, accounting firm, IRS/Treasury, and/or a bank or corporation.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.

Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM, among others on KPMG's approved credential listing; if not in possession of at least one approved designation/credential at start, there is a one-year period to obtain one of the approved designations/credentials. Outstanding research and verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex tax concepts to professionals in other areas of tax and to clients who may not have a technical tax background.
