The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function that may be performed at the job level. Payment Processing & Financial Support Collaborate with team members to prepare accurate and timely payment documents, following established accounting policies and procedures. Support a range of agency-specific processes in WOLFS (Wyoming Online Financial System), including accounts payable transactions, travel reimbursements, CMS transactions, and P-card payments, with attention to budget alignment and efficiency. Vendor Management Maintain and enter Vendor Management Forms in WOLFS and keep Vendor Management tracking current and accurate; inform staff when vendors are activated with the State of Wyoming. Cross-Team Support & Compliance Ensure program purchases comply with statutory, procurement, agency, and accounting policies; answer questions and clarify policies with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach. Contribute to maintaining internal controls by researching and analyzing financial data in WOLFS and supporting corrective actions as needed. Project Collaboration Assist the Fiscal Manager with special projects, including data gathering and analysis to support decision-making and continuous improvement. KNOWLEDGE: Experience or familiarity with the following is helpful: Basic financial calculations and data analysis Internal control processes and general accounting practices Microsoft Excel and computerized accounting systems Effective communication, both written and verbal Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Focus on accuracy and following instructions Openness to active learning and applying new information MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education:

Bachelor's Degree (typically in Finance) Experience:

0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Finance) with knowledge at the level of an Accounting Technician OR Education & Experience Substitution:

3-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Finance) with knowledge at the level of an Accounting Technician Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
