As a Real Estate Tax Manager, you will apply your tax knowledge to a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes on complex issues, while collaborating with a diverse team and continuing your career progression through mentoring and training programs.
Responsibilities
Analyze evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
Identify opportunities and risks and communicate these to clients.
Research current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
Build client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of the real estate, hospitality and construction industries.
Develop clear plans to improve clients\' tax activities.
Research clients\' business operations and tailor advice to their needs.
Supervise a team to ensure skill development and opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline.
CPA required, or active bar membership in a state.
Minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
Professional knowledge in real estate tax technical and transaction skills (e.g., partnership taxation, REITs taxation and qualification, partnership allocations, tax compliance, due diligence, acquisition/disposition planning and structuring).
Experience managing budgets, people and projects.
Proven track record in a professional services or tax organization.
Technical writing and research experience in a tax context.
Ability to prioritize multiple complex projects; strong influencing skills; willingness to travel; ability to work in a balanced hybrid environment.

What We Offer You
Comprehensive compensation and benefits package. Base salary ranges: $116,200–$212,900 (US-wide); $139,400–$242,000 for NYC Metro, WA, and CA (excluding Sacramento). Total Rewards include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k), and paid time off options.
Hybrid working model: Most client-serving roles expected to work in person 40–60% of the time.
