Accounts Payable Specialist at The Cook & Boardman Group, LLC. Responsibilities

Reviews and verifies invoices and check requisitions, and enters them into ERP system Matches invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents, ensuring correct general ledger accounts, cost centers and projects Monitors accounts to ensure payments are up to date by reviewing vendor statements Researches and resolves invoice discrepancies and issues by coordinating with purchasing, receiving, and other departments Corresponds with vendors and associates and responds to inquiries Other relative duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent combination of education/experience Current and valid US driver’s license preferred At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar accounting position Must pass pre-employment background check and drug test Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Excellent Excel experience and skills required High attention to detail, self-motivated, and ability to work independently Excellent organizational skills Strong PC and systems skills, proficient in Microsoft Office Suite General accounting knowledge and application of accounting theory Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Excellent verbal and written communication skills Physical Demands and Work Environment
