SDS Division – Security Coordinator 4 Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a

Security Coordinator 4

located in

Roy, UT . The selected candidate will primarily maintain compliance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and support the

Strategic Deterrent System (SDS) Division .

Responsibilities

Support a fast‑paced, high‑profile program; create, maintain, and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers.

Develop and administer security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.

Conduct security audits.

Assist with media issuance, accountability, and destruction.

Analyze, investigate, and resolve classified security issues while providing leadership and guidance on actions to ensure compliance with the classified security program.

Submit, review, and verify Visit Requests through queries to government security databases and systems.

Support classified security programs and provide expertise in all security functions in accordance with the DoD Special Access Program (SAP) Security Manuals (DoD Manual 5205.07 Volumes 1‑4) and other applicable security regulations.

Ensure compliance with government and corporate security policies and procedures.

Maintain access control, including UL‑2050 compliant intrusion detection systems (IDS) and automated access control systems (ACS).

Ensure adherence to contractual guidance for classified programs and cleared facilities in accordance with DD Form 254 and DoD Contract Security Classification Specifications.

Assist program managers and professional staff in interpreting, applying, and complying with program Security Classification Guides (SCG).

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine‑hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Job Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent and 6 years additional education and/or related experience.

Must have U.S. Citizenship with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period.

Computer and desktop Microsoft Office software products experience.

Must have administrative, security education, inventory, risk management, security compliance, or other security‑related experience.

Experience working with classified materials.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM) and DoD 5205.07 manuals.

Familiarity with Security Information Management System (SIMs).

Experience with SLOPACS, DISS, NISS, Lenel, or other related security systems.

Organized and efficient at time management.

Must be detail‑oriented, have meticulous record‑keeping, and be responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets.

Self‑started with minimal supervision.

Experience with government compliance inspections.

Ability to excel in a fast‑paced deadline‑driven environment.

Salary Range Primary Level Salary Range: $51,200.00 – $85,400.00. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay.
