Senior Pursuit Manager – Water Solutions

The Senior Pursuit Manager will focus on the Water Solution Portfolio, driving Design‑Build pursuits and helping advance mega‑pursuits for the Water Solutions group.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for pursuit management, coordination of proposals, interviews and negotiations leading to selection.
Manage proposals that are Design‑Build or large services scope with medium to high‑risk profiles.
Manage multiple pursuits of differing revenue, contracting structures, complexities and schedules at a given time.
Organize and manage pursuit positioning activities following lead identification.
Foster understanding of client organization, buying patterns, project selection committee, influencers and political dynamics.
Manage proposal development from assignment to contract signing.
Ensure Company Wide Authority Matrix (CWAM) compliance and adherence to proposal process procedures.
Collaborate with the Client Account Manager and Project Management to implement the proposal strategy.
Facilitate proposal kick‑off meeting and strategy meetings.
Ensure project management participation in proposal process (project execution plan, scope review, risk mitigation, commercial terms, etc.).
Drive collaboration between pursuit team members and other shareholders.
Ensure accountability across the pursuit team; meet deadlines and drive schedule to achieve delivery requirements.
Continually evaluate risks of the project based on known and unknown information in collaboration with the team.
Drive review of Risk Register by Project Manager and Project Director, taking into consideration solution and client segment perspective.
Manage any proposals identified as Mega Project and coordinate all required process requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical project execution field.
Ensures Accountability – holds self and others accountable to meet commitments.
Drives Results – consistently achieve results, takes initiative and leads and motivates professionals.
Effective communication – excellent communications/human relations skills (written, verbal, client service) and able to interface with diverse personalities.
Collaboration – builds internal and external partnerships and works in collaboration with others to meet shared objectives.
Decision Quality – makes good and timely decisions to keep the team moving forward.
Business Insight – applies (and gains) knowledge of the business and marketplace to advance BV goals.
DB and Water experience is preferred.
Understanding of financial metrics including PGM, revenue, and overhead costs (Business Acumen).
Commercial/business knowledge of contracts.
Strong problem‑solving skills (identify, analyze, research, evaluate, resolve).
Technology – leverages industry‑leading tools to facilitate proposal creation and tracking (including Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite).
Flexibility – the ability to appropriately adapt to and manage quick changes in direction.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.
8+ years of engineering, project execution or technical pursuit management experience.

Salary and Compensation Annual compensation range: $147,785 – $251,888.
