Litigation Paralegal Status: Non-exempt / Full-time Salary: Commensurate with experience Essential Functions
Draft and prepare written discovery Assist with drafting complaints, motions, and briefs Perform basic legal research E-File in State and Federal Court Assist with preparation and filing of pleadings Manage litigation calendar and track case-related dates Prepare for trials - organizing exhibits, files, and all other case documents, coordinating trial setup and logistics and assist attorneys in the courtroom as needed. Qualifications
Ability to prioritize, organize, multi-task and problem solve Excellent writing, organization, and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Familiarity with both State and Federal Courts rules and procedures Familiarity with law, legal procedures, and protocols Knowledge and understanding of eDiscovery Friendly and professional when interacting with clients and court staff Preferred Education and Experience
