Overview
Litigation Paralegal – Status: Non-exempt / Full-time. Position title: Litigation Paralegal. Salary information: Base pay range listed as $70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr. Actual pay will be based on skills and experience. Responsibilities
Draft and prepare written discovery Assist with drafting complaints, motions, and briefs Perform basic legal research E-file in State and Federal Court Assist with preparation and filing of pleadings Manage litigation calendar and track case-related dates Prepare for trials – organize exhibits and files, coordinate trial setup and logistics, and assist attorneys in the courtroom as needed Qualifications
Ability to prioritize, organize, multi-task and problem solve Excellent writing, organization, and communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Familiarity with State and Federal Courts rules and procedures Familiarity with law, legal procedures, and protocols Knowledge and understanding of eDiscovery Friendly and professional when interacting with clients and court staff Preferred Education and Experience
