Overview
Line Service Technician (LST) at Modern Aviation. This role provides ground support services for arriving and departing aircraft, combining technical services (fueling, towing, parking, basic cleaning, etc.) with exceptional customer service to jet owners, guests, and crews. Responsibilities
Responsible for all aircraft and ramp coordination during assigned shifts Delegate and assign duties to qualified personnel, monitor progress, and assess results Monitor the work of LSTs on duty during your assigned shifts Assist Line Manager and Line Technician Trainer with training new employees Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including stepping in when the Manager or Supervisor is absent Maintain shift reports and related paperwork Perform all responsibilities of the Line Technician while upholding Modern Aviation standards Promote and maintain a positive image of Modern Aviation to all personnel, vendors, and the community Ensure a safe operation for customers, staff, and equipment Assist passengers and flight crews with Seven Star Service, offering additional services and exceeding expectations Move, position, store, de-ice, and fuel aircraft as required Operate a wide variety of aircraft ground support equipment Maintain ramp awareness regarding aircraft, debris, and weather conditions Work with minimal supervision Make fast, sound decisions in line with company policies, SOPs, and safety regulations Perform other duties as assigned by shift-lead or Line Manager Recognize and manage exposure to hazardous noise, chemicals, fumes, machinery, and inclement weather Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age Strong verbal and written communication skills Exceptional mathematical skills Valid Driver's License Physically able to stand or walk for long periods Preferred Qualifications Previous customer service experience preferred Basic knowledge of various aircraft types and servicing a plus Additional Information
Reports to: Line Service Manager Supervisory Responsibility: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities FLSA Status: This position is nonexempt Work Environment: Exposed to moving mechanical parts; wet/humid conditions; extreme temperatures; high places; outdoor weather; vibration; and chemicals including aviation fuels and oils. Noise levels are usually loud.
