Overview

Line Technician Supervisor (LTD) at Modern Aviation. The Line Technician Supervisor attends to service needs related to transient aircraft, catering to the needs of jet owners, guests, and crews. While the primary duties focus on technical services (fueling, towing, parking, basic cleaning, etc.), exceptional customer service skills are vital for successful completion. The LTS ensures that every arriving/departing aircraft receives all ground support services in a timely fashion with high energy and a smile. Essential Functions

Must understand and exemplify what it means to be a partner at Modern Aviation. Promotes and maintains a positive image of Modern Aviation to all personnel, members, volunteers, vendors, and the community. Ensures safe operations by actively participating in the IS-BAH safety program, mitigating hazards and protecting customers, staff, and equipment from harm. Assists passengers and flight crews with Seven Star Service, offering additional services and exceeding customer expectations. Responsible for movement, placement, storage, de-icing, and fueling of aircraft. Operate a wide variety of aircraft ground support equipment. Maintain ramp awareness regarding aircraft, debris, and inclement weather procedures. Perform work with minimal supervision. Make fast, informed decisions using company policies, SOPs, and safety regulations. Perform other duties as assigned by shift-lead, shift-supervisor, or Line Manager. Understand exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, machinery, and inclement weather. Coordinate aircraft and ramp activities during assigned shifts; monitor and delegate duties to qualified personnel; supervise Line Support Technicians on duty. Assist Line Manager with training/mentoring new employees. Adhere to safety policies and procedures, including in the Manager’s absence. Maintain shift reports and related paperwork. Fill in for the Line Manager when not on duty. Minimum Qualifications

Strong verbal and written communication skills Exceptional mathematical skills Valid Driver’s License Physically able to stand or walk for long periods Preferred Qualifications

Previous customer service experience preferred Basic knowledge of various aircraft types and servicing a plus Reports To

This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities. FLSA Status

Nonexempt Work Environment

Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions including extreme heat/cold, high places, outdoor weather, vibration, chemicals (aviation fuels, oils, lavatory fluid). Noise level is usually loud. Travel

No travel required. Physical Requirements

Regularly walk, sit, stoop, stretch, bend, reach, and grasp. May work nights/weekends. Frequently lift/move up to 75 pounds. EEO Statement
