Senior Aviation Military Analyst (Integration Synch/Ops SME) Location: About the position: The purpose of this position is to provide professional support services for Army Capability Managers (ACMs) and the Experimentation and Analysis Directorate (CEAD) located at the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE), Fort Novosel, Alabama. Responsibilities: Analyze Aviation organizations in support of formation-based assessments. Analyze Aviation organizations in support of simulation activities. Analyze Aviation organizations in support of annual capabilities needs assessments. Tailor methodology and conduct analysis to examine Aviation tasks, conditions, standards, and gaps across select Aviation formations. Write or support the revision of JCIDS, supporting, and emerging requirements documents. Review manned/unmanned platform programs and requirements documents. Assess the validity of current capabilities concerning Large Scale Combat Operations. Evaluate the ability of systems to operate in a Large-Scale Combat environment. Qualifications: Rated Army Aviator with at least 15 years of Aviation flight and combat operations experience. Senior or Master Rated Aviator. In-depth understanding of integrated scheduling processes to assist ACMs. Experience in synchronizing modernization plans across the Army aligned with the Army Modernization Strategy. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Experience in combat developments and capability management for at least 5 years. Experience authoring JCIDS documents approved by JROC. Experience in strategic planning, data input, and synchronization at a senior organizational level. Participation in Army Aviation Enterprise Synchronization Model workgroups. Ability to review and edit technical documents to ensure graduate-level writing quality. Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required within 90 days. Ability to produce comprehensive written products independently based on broad guidance. Relevant DAU or equivalent courses in JCIDS, requirements management, capabilities assessment, and analysis of alternatives. *Position contingent on contract award.
