Senior Aviation Military Analyst (Cargo Helicopter Subject Matter Expertise)

About the position:
The purpose of this position is to provide professional support services for Army Capability Managers (ACMs) and the Experimentation and Analysis Directorate (CEAD) located at United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence (USAACE), Fort Novosel, Alabama.
Responsibilities:
Provide coherent presentations, documentation, and executive summaries using traditional business communication mediums for senior leadership decisions.
Conduct stakeholder meetings, workgroups, telephone, and video conferences.
Prepare products and documentation using Microsoft Office or similar software to brief leadership on Army Aviation Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership, Personnel, Facilities (DOTMLPF), and related costs including manning, training, and equipment.
Work independently based on broad senior-level guidance to produce white papers, concept papers, requirements documents, operational views, and other written products. Review and edit these products to ensure they meet graduate-level standards expected of the Army Command and General Staff College (ILE), Warrant Officer Staff Course (WOILE), or NCO professional development courses (SLC, MLC, Sergeants Major Course).
Qualifications:
Former or current US Army Reserve or National Guard Field Grade Officer, Field Grade Warrant Officer, or Senior Non-commissioned Officer (CSM/CW4/CW5/MAJ/LTC).
At least 15 years of aviation operations experience in cargo helicopter formations, with CH-47 experience required.
Senior or Master rated Aviator for prior and current Field Grade Officers and Warrant Officers.
Graduation from CGSC/ILE or Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course for Field Grade Officers and Warrant Officers.
Prior SGMs, US Army Reserve or National Guard SGMs must have completed the requisite NCO professional development course (Sergeants Major Course).
At least 5 years of experience in combat or capabilities development.
Aircraft qualification and operational experience with CH-47.
Ability to work independently based on broad senior guidance to produce required documents.
SECRET clearance required.
Completion of DAU or equivalent courses including: Introduction to JCIDS CLR 101, Requirements Management RQM 110, Capabilities Based Assessment CLR 250, Developing Key Performance Parameters CLR 252, and Defense Acquisition University courses - Market Research CON 0040, and Analysis of Alternatives CLR 1510.
