one (1) Full-Time, Permanent
Information Systems Specialist 6 position. This position has the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule, two days work from home, pending completion of trial service. Summary of Job Duties: In this position, you will analyze complex vulnerability issues, perform forensic investigations, and create effective solutions. You will also assist the Office of Professional Standards in conducting investigations by gathering historical and real time data. In this position, you will also support information security through monitoring of system logs, performance, and access/identity controls. You will routinely work with Enterprise Information Services (EIS) Data Center Services (DCS) partners to troubleshoot system problems and ensure alignment with the Enterprise. You will also engage in contract and vendor management to ensure appropriate licensing and support from vendors. Minimum Qualifications/Eligibility Requirements: Information Systems Specialist 6 Five (5) years of information systems experience in Microsoft Defender, Powershell, and Forensic analysis OR An Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field; AND three (3) years of information systems experience in Microsoft Defender, Powershell, and Forensic analysis OR A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field AND one (1) year of information systems experience in Microsoft Defender, Powershell, and Forensic analysis Preferred Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of the Microsoft Defender suite, Tenable/Nessus for vulnerability management, and Azure Log Analytics Workspace Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation skills Ability to manage IT initiatives Demonstrated skill and ability to collaborate with teammates and build positive business relationships with superiors, subordinates, peers, and others outside of their organization.
