Job Description Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The Commercial Lines Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts to ensure client satisfaction and retention. This individual will serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and expert insurance guidance.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including processing policy changes, renewals, and endorsements.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate coverage terms, and ensure accurate policy documentation.
Analyze insurance applications and underwriting data to assess risk and make appropriate recommendations to clients.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to provide proactive advice to clients.
Resolve client inquiries and issues in a timely and professional manner, exceeding client expectations.
Utilize insurance agency management system to maintain accurate client records and documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements
3+ years of commercial insurance account management experience preferred.
Proven track record of managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and exceeding client expectations.
Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and insurance carriers.
Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
An active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license is required.
Compensation Package
Compensation: Between $45k-$60k (based on experience).
