About this Role

Under the supervision of Staff Services Manager I (SSM I), Staff Services Analyst (SSA) provides analytical and administrative support for FBSU activities involving a variety of evaluative and coordination tasks that contribute to the efficient and safe operation of the MOC. Assist with facility work requests through the MOC ticketing system. Participate in review and evaluation of contractor performance. Maintain compliance with health and safety standards. Update emergency preparedness plans. Monitor and support records retention efforts in line with departmental policies. Coordinate IT infrastructure and equipment maintenance in collaboration with Enterprise Technology Services (ETS). Assist with procurement tasks, monitor and track basic expenses for cost reimbursement budgeting. Provide support to the Program Support Division (PSD) on space planning and ergonomic workstation setup. Help develop and maintain clear and compliant procedures for assigned responsibilities to promote operational consistency and support. Working Conditions

The incumbent works in an office setting with artificial light and temperature control. The ability to use a personal computer and telephone is essential. The incumbent must be able to frequently remain in a stationary position at a workstation throughout the day and must occasionally position self to perform a variety of tasks including retrieval of files. Minimum Requirements

Knowledge of principles, practices, and trends of public and business administration, management, and supportive staff services such as budgeting, personnel, and management analysis. Knowledge of governmental functions and organization, particularly as they relate to facilities operations, emergency preparedness, and administrative support services. Ability to reason logically and creatively and utilize a variety of analytical techniques to resolve complex governmental and managerial problems. Ability to develop and evaluate alternatives and make sound recommendations related to facilities management, procurement, and space planning. Ability to analyze data and present ideas and information effectively in written and verbal form, including memos, reports, and procedural documentation. Ability to consult with and advise administrators, program staff, and technical teams (e.g., IT, contractors) on a wide variety of subject-matter areas. Experience in facilities, space management, and/or maintenance-related jobs that require being on your feet and lifting heavy objects. Benefits

This position is currently eligible for telework up to three days per week and is required to report in person a minimum of two days per week. Salary ranges for this position are $3,861.00 - $4,839.00 A, $4,181.00 - $5,233.00 B, $5,014.00 - $6,276.00 C.
