The Corrosion Monitoring Technician (CMT) provides support to the Greater Prudhoe Bay field operations by installing and removing corrosion monitoring devices in pressurized pipelines. The CMT works with Corrosion Engineers to begin evaluating the corrosion rate of various pipelines in order to implement a mitigation process. ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Responsible for maintaining and servicing valves and retrieval tools. Work primarily in the arctic environment, in hazardous atmospheres, and with occasional time spent inside process facilities and shops. Drive company vehicles to various locations (up to 120 miles per day) to reach all locations requiring service. Perform daily housekeeping duties in the shop and on assigned vehicles. Interface with Client Field and Facility Operators to gain access through the Electronic Control of Work permitting system to be allowed access to various work locations. Communicate with other contractors who may be working on site. Provide leadership and education in AES safety culture. Assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations. Other duties will be assigned to this position as needs require. Comply with Company and customer policies and procedures. Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required. Valid Driver's License required. Must have a minimum of 3 years related work experience, including but not limited to: working with pressurized process piping, equipment, and associated hazards. Must be able to physically lift equipment (weighing up to 70 pounds) on a repetitive basis. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Must have basic skills to utilize computers. A strong mechanical background is required. Required to complete NCCER Pipeline Training and Assessment Program certifications for DOT operator covered tasks within first 6 months of hire. North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) safety training certification and valid driver's license required. PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Previous driving experience in winter and arctic conditions is preferred. TOTAL REWARDS

When working on the North Slope of Alaska, lodging and meals are provided.
