Responsibilities
Supervise Staff: Oversee and evaluate the performance of Corporals and Officers within assigned areas. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement community policing strategies tailored to neighborhood needs. Operational Oversight: Ensure efficient patrol operations, resource allocation, and community engagement efforts. Policy Management: Assist in creating and enforcing departmental policies, ensuring compliance. Community Relations: Build strong connections with residents, leaders, and organizations to address issues and foster trust. Collaboration: Work with specialized units and external agencies to address crime trends and enhance public safety. Incident Command: Lead responses to major incidents, coordinating resources effectively. Data and Reporting: Analyze crime data and community feedback, preparing reports for leadership. Training: Oversee advanced training programs in leadership and crisis management. Budget Management: Assist in budget oversight, ensuring cost-effective operations. Crisis Intervention: Direct responses to high-stress incidents, supporting officers and the community. Qualifications
