The Division of Hematology/Oncology at Memorial Cancer Institute is seeking a motivated and dynamic Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join its team in a brand-new and innovative role. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead care delivery in a high-acuity ambulatory infusion setting, working in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team committed to providing comprehensive and compassionate care for patients with solid tumors and malignant hematologic conditions. Responsibilities
Evaluating and managing adult patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies during their infusion treatments. Assessing patients who are presented to the infusion center with acute symptoms or concerns raised by infusion nurses. Leading the response to clinical complications, including infusion-related reactions, hypersensitivity responses, and other medical emergencies. Collaborating closely with infusion nursing staff, oncology pharmacists, attending physicians, and outpatient APPs to optimize patient care and workflow. Providing on-the-spot clinical decision-making and patient management. Educating and supporting a robust and highly skilled team of infusion nurses and patient care associates (PCAs). Qualifications & Schedule
Master's degree in nursing with AGACNP or FNP certification and strong oncology background Current (or eligible) Florida APRN license; BLS and ACLS required Oncology, infusion, and emergency response experience highly preferred Full-time, Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM About Memorial Cancer Institute
