Job Summary:
Teach introductory computer programming, focusing on problem-solving using Java, including control structures, object-oriented design, arrays, and files.
Responsibilities
Develop and deliver course content, assessments, and instructional materials.
Attend required meetings and participate in college governance.
Maintain current knowledge of subject matter and compliance training.
Evaluate student performance and provide feedback.
Maintain records and communicate with students effectively.
Participate in curriculum development and departmental activities.
Schedule classes across various campuses or online as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in computer science, or
Master’s degree in a related field with 18 graduate semester hours in computer science.
Compensation Per Load Hour: 2025-2026 - $1,373; 2025-2027 - $1,414
