Maple Knoll Village, a continuing care retirement community located in Cincinnati, OH, is currently seeking a reliable and team oriented full-time dayshift Housekeeper to join our team. The hours for this position are 7:30am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday with no weekends or holidays. The pay range for this position is $15.00-$17.50 per hour. Pay is based on prior housekeeping experience. Some experience is required. We are dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
Clean and maintain the cleanliness of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, dining rooms, and activity rooms.
Clean resident apartments, ensuring a tidy, comfortable, and hygienic living space.
Perform routine dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
Clean and sanitize restrooms and high-touch areas regularly.
Assist with community building activities to ensure a welcoming and clean environment.
Follow all health and safety protocols, including infection control procedures.
Report maintenance or safety issues to management promptly.
Assist residents with minor cleaning requests as needed.
Qualifications
Previous housekeeping experience is preferred, e.g., in a senior living, healthcare, or hospitality setting.
Ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
Compassionate, friendly, and patient demeanor.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and ability to interact positively with residents and staff.
