We have an immediate opening for a Production Baker to work during the holidays season this year. The Production Baker will be responsible for all aspects of baking that include making cookies, scones, puff pastries, muffins, cakes, bars, brownies, pies, buttercream, decorating cakes and more. The Production Baker does pre-bake, baking, and post-bake procedures in a timely, clean and organized manner. The Production Baker’s goal is to achieve consistency and excellence in all baked goods in order to provide our guests with a fresh and delicious experience. Responsibilities

They give outstanding service by producing all Bi-Rite baked goods, sauces, and ice cream for all full-service events, catering platters and markets; ensuring Bi-Rite recipes are followed accurately and all standards are met. Work with the Bakery Service Supervisor to determine accurate production quantities and daily pars to fulfill wholesale, catering, special orders and any other anticipated business needs. Responsible for properly receiving and putting away dairy and dry good deliveries, organizing and rotating backstock and supplies, and maintaining clean work areas and equipment Success in this role

Minimum 1 year of experience as a baker using commercial baking equipment and tools. Attention to details: follow and troubleshoot recipes, food preparation, and presentation, inventory, labeling and stocking of food ingredients, cleanliness and knowledge of Food Safety. Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift. Enjoys working as part of the team and collaborates professionally with others. ServSafe Certification, California Food Handler card is required within 30 days post-hire. Bi-Rite provides on-site training and certification. Must be 18 years of age or older. About Bi-Rite
