Position Description: Description of Position Northside Church of Christ in Bloomington, Illinois, is seeking a full-time youth and family minister who will work under the oversight of the congregation’s elders. This individual will lead and shepherd our youth (birth–12th grade) and their families in growing deeper in faith, discipleship, and love and service toward others. This full-time ministry position involves mentoring, teaching, and providing guidance to our youth, as well as organizing programs that foster their faith and encourage community involvement. Qualifications We are seeking a minister of proven character, with a vital, spirit-filled walk with Jesus Christ. The individual should demonstrate experience in youth ministry, teaching, and working effectively with young people and families from diverse backgrounds. Strong communication (written and verbal), organizational, and leadership abilities are essential for success in this role. A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in theology, Bible, ministry, or a related field is preferred. Applicants with significant experience in youth and family ministry may also be considered.
