The Congregation and Community
We are a welcoming, instrumental, and non-traditional Restoration
Movement congregation of approximately 120 people from all walks of
life. Our mission is to love God, love others, and serve the world. We
follow the principle, “in essentials, unity; in non-essentials,
liberty; in all things, charity.” For us, essentials include a belief
in Jesus Christ and the salvation we have through his blood; the
acceptance of God’s grace through faith, repentance and baptism; the
Bible as the inspired word of God; and the promise of eternal life
with God.
The church is located in the central Illinois twin cities of
Bloomington-Normal. The area is a diverse and growing community of
approximately 130,000 people. It features a thriving economy,
highly-regarded schools, two major universities, and several large
corporations. Many opportunities exist to enjoy the arts, sports, and
nature. The area includes plenty of activities for children and
families, including a robust parks system.

We are seeking a minister of proven character, with a vital,
spirit-filled walk with Jesus Christ. The individual should
