Contract opportunity for 6-8 months $30/hr This role is responsible for promoting a safe workplace by developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs, conducting training, and ensuring compliance with all OSHA regulations and company policies. Key Responsibilities: Develop and enforce health and safety policies and procedures Conduct regular safety inspections and audits Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions Maintain safety records and documentation Facilitate safety meetings and trainings Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements Collaborate with management and employees to maintain a safe working environment Assist with workers' comp claims and return-to-work programs Requirements: Minimum 5 years of safety experience in a manufacturing setting Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and industrial safety regulations Excellent communication, training, and problem-solving skills Certification in safety (OSHA 30, CSP, or similar) preferred Ability to analyze data and create safety improvement plans Seniority level
