Overview
We are seeking an EHS Technician to support our client’s safety programs in the Greensboro, NC area. This role provides hands-on EHS expertise, ensures compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and NC regulations, and promotes a safe work environment across warehouse and production areas. Duration:
12+ months contract, with possibility for extension/perm Shift:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Key Responsibilities
Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections; maintain site-specific EHS policies. Assist with EHS training and emergency response teams. Identify hazards, perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and enforce safety standards (LOTO, fall protection, chemical management, etc.). Manage hazardous/non-hazardous waste and maintain spill supplies. Investigate accidents and support emergency response activities. Qualifications
2+ years of hands-on EHS experience. Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NC regulations. Experience in warehouse/production environments; forklift, lifting straps, fall protection knowledge preferred. First-Aid/CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain quickly. Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
