Personal Trainer Apprentice

Columbia Association (CA) is looking for part-time enthusiastic and business-minded Personal Trainer Apprentice to join our team! Are you dedicated to health and fitness and thrive on guiding others towards their fitness aspirations? We are searching for personable and driven Personal Trainers to join our team in the Health, Wellness, and Fitness field. Apprenticeship Requirements:
Personal Training apprenticeship candidates must have an NCCA certified Personal Training Certification
CPR/AED
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver information clearly, concisely, and timely.
Demonstrate ability to effectively supervise and direct others.
Able to work diligently and independently.
Possess problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.
Can translate priorities into field decisions.
Possess ability to provide multisensory instruction: auditory, visual, tactile, kinesthetic.
Able to identify opportunities to improve club experience, efficiency or programming and implement innovative solutions.
Must have professional appearance, a pleasant, helpful attitude and enjoy customer service.
Have collaborative team building and performance management capabilities.
Other qualities critical for managerial success include leadership, self-confidence, motivation, decisiveness, flexibility, sound business judgment, and determination.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office applications.
The pay rate for this position is $16.00/per hour with a commission rate of $23 - $43/per hour. CA offers a positive, fun work environment and a generous benefits package.
