A postdoctoral research opportunity is available with Clemson University. The Post-Doctoral Fellow will contribute to cutting-edge research in model calibration, validation and uncertainty quantification (MCVUQ) for power systems – with particular emphasis on coupled / integrated distribution and transmission system models. Working closely with faculty and collaborators, the fellow will develop and apply advanced statistical, computational, and probabilistic methods to improve the fidelity and predictive capabilities of power system models. The position involves integrating calibrated models into broader simulation frameworks, analyzing the impact of uncertainty on system behavior, and disseminating findings through publications and presentations. This role offers opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration, mentoring graduate students, and contributing to proposal development for future research initiatives. Qualifications
PhD required in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematical Sciences, Statistics or Computer Science. Must have obtained a doctoral degree in above listed fields or similar before starting the position. Application Instructions
