Staff Environmental Engineer I – Roux Position overview: This position will assist the project team and Project Manager in providing field support and technical assistance on environmental investigation and remediation projects. Responsibilities

Essential Duties Field Activities: Assists other technical staff in calibration of sampling/monitoring equipment, soil sampling, well installation, development and purging, groundwater sampling, vapor/indoor air sampling, remediation monitoring, and oversight. Project Assistance: Assists project team in preparation and review of data tables, soil boring logs, figures and other components of technical reports. Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field. Typically requires 0-2 years of experience. Ability to safely perform various routine field activities including but not limited to applying proper sampling techniques for all environmental media and overseeing and directing subcontractors. Exhibits strong work ethic, positive attitude, and general enthusiasm for the work. Entry level data evaluation and analytical skills. Physical Demands / Work Environment This position works predominantly in the field at exterior project sites (e.g., industrial/brownfield facilities, monitoring wells, treatment systems, construction projects) to perform sample collection, recording of operational/meter parameters, and oversight of subcontractors (e.g., drillers, heavy equipment operators, truckers). Field activities require the ability to drive to different project sites and move around outdoors in various terrains and weather conditions, and may involve extended or irregular hours. Equipment used includes hand-held monitoring instruments and water sampling equipment; ability to lift and carry objects, stand, walk, reach, bend, squat, kneel and twist. Office work is primarily stationary and computer-based. Roux is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Base Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000. This range reflects good-faith belief at posting time and location. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, market conditions, education, certifications, skill sets, and internal equity. Eligible for performance bonuses based on individual performance and firm profitability. Benefits
