Commercial Sales Account Representative
located in/around the assigned sales territory: Cincinnati North and East, into lower Michigan (70%) and surrounding areas (30%) within an approximate two-hour radius. The position involves providing personalized solutions to fit customers’ equipment, tooling, and consumable needs. The ideal candidate is a team player with exceptional sales and customer service skills, and the ability to build/maintain long-term relationships with customers in construction, contracting, scaffolding, industrial, electrical power, welding and rigging industries. Responsibilities
Increase the company’s market share by prospecting new business (equipment rental and supply needs) while servicing and growing existing accounts in the assigned territory. Foster and forge new/existing relationships that impact long-term success and sales of products and services, including quoting and selling/up-selling/cross-selling to drive increased share of customer spend. Manage an assigned account base to meet customer service/satisfaction expectations while achieving sales and profitability objectives. Manage a CRM platform and build a pipeline of qualified businesses. Requirements
Minimum of three years’ experience in Outside sales, Account management or Business Development. Prior exposure to the supply distribution, equipment rental industry, mechanical, contracting or construction services; knowledge of products (tools and equipment) is beneficial. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to juggle multiple time-sensitive priorities while delivering quality support in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to respond to inquiries at all levels. Team player with the ability to work well within a group. Some college/associate degrees in a related field, preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data analysis, report generation and sales materials; SAP experience would be a plus (SAP Business One). Travel to include overnight stays. This position will report through our Harrison, OH branch location. What we provide
