Client Service & Program Management: Lead tactical execution of PR program elements including media relations, analyst relations, awards, speaking, and content; manage projects from concept through completion with alignment to goals, timelines, and budgets; lead regular client communications and weekly PR calls; provide strategic counsel under pressure; develop and present quarterly campaigns and PR plans; track competitor activity and identify opportunities for client commentary; participate in media training and session follow-up; develop budget recommendations and team priorities. Media & Influencer Relations: Own and lead media relations with strong existing relationships across key publications; craft proactive pitches that drive coverage; identify trends and opportunities; utilize social and influencer channels to amplify earned media; support influencer campaigns and coverage amplification; measure ROI and adjust strategies; mentor junior team members to strengthen pitching skills. Writing & Content Development: Plan and create strategic content for campaigns and PR programs; write and edit press releases, pitches, Q&As, award submissions, speaking abstracts, contributed articles, bios, fact sheets, briefing books, and internal client correspondence; ensure clear and timely communication with clients and internal teams; produce media-ready pitches. Analytics & Integration: Lead reporting using analytics tools; present performance updates and insights to clients; collaborate across departments to ensure seamless service integration; help evaluate and implement AI tools to increase efficiency and creativity. Mentorship & Collaboration: Mentor junior team members; foster a collaborative environment and professional attitude; support strong team dynamics through effective communication and leadership. Qualifications
3–5 years of PR/communications experience in an agency setting (required) Background in B2B technology sectors such as AI, cybersecurity, SaaS, infrastructure, or enterprise IT Demonstrated success in developing media relationships and securing impactful placements Strong writing and editing skills across a variety of formats and audiences Experience managing multiple priorities and leading day-to-day client work Comfort with data, analytics, and ROI reporting A growth mindset, collaborative spirit, and desire to lead within a team environment Why Highwire?
