At Highwire, our Senior Account Executives are tactical leaders, trusted client partners, and collaborative mentors who drive real results. On our B2B Technology team, you’ll work with dynamic tech companies—from AI and cybersecurity to enterprise SaaS and infrastructure. You bring 3–5 years of PR experience in an agency setting, a track record of media success, and the confidence to own campaigns from strategy to execution. You’re a skilled communicator, a self-starter, and a relationship-builder ready to lead in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

What You’ll Do

Client Service & Program Management

Lead tactical execution of key PR elements including media relations, analyst relations, awards, speaking, and content

Manage projects from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, timelines, and budgets

Lead regular client communications, including owning and facilitating weekly PR calls and check-ins

Provide strategic counsel under high-pressure or reactive circumstances

Develop and present quarterly campaigns and PR plans with creative themes, trends, and thought leadership

Track competitor activity and identify timely opportunities for client commentary

Participate in media training sessions and follow up on sessions

Develop budget recommendations and team priority allocations

Media & Influencer Relations

Own and lead media relations with strong relationships across key publications

Develop proactive pitches that generate coverage and drive results

Identify emerging opportunities and share insights to inform strategy

Utilize social/digital channels to amplify earned media and engage influencer communities

Support influencer campaigns with integrated content and amplification

Measure ROI and report on outcomes to optimize future efforts

Coach junior team members to strengthen media relationships

Writing & Content Development

Plan and create strategic content for campaigns and PR programs

Write and edit press releases, pitches, Q&As, award submissions, speaking abstracts, contributed articles, bios, fact sheets, backgrounders, briefing books, and client correspondence

Deliver clear, timely communication with clients and internal teams

Produce media-ready pitches and supportive materials

Insights, Analytics & Integration

Lead reporting efforts using analytics tools to measure results and refine strategies

Present performance updates and campaign insights to clients

Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless service integration

Assist in evaluating and implementing AI tools to increase efficiency

Mentorship & Collaboration

Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative environment

Model professional behavior across teams and clients

Support strong team dynamics through effective communication

Agency Engagement & Operations

Participate in new business efforts, from research to presentation

Contribute to thought leadership by writing blog posts and engaging on social channels

Attend networking events and industry panels; identify opportunities to improve operations or culture

Professional Growth & Self-Development

Set quarterly goals with your manager and take ownership of growth

Prioritize responsibilities by impact and client goals; drive projects independently

Identify opportunities for improvement and propose actionable solutions

Meet deadlines or proactively communicate changes

What You Bring

3–5 years of PR/communications experience in an agency setting (required)

Background in B2B technology sectors such as AI, cybersecurity, SaaS, infrastructure, or enterprise IT

Successful media relationship development and placements

Strong writing and editing skills across formats

Experience managing multiple priorities and leading day-to-day client work

Comfort with data, analytics, and ROI reporting

Growth mindset, collaborative spirit, and desire to lead within a team
