Our Energy & Natural Resources group delivers specialized risk solutions for clients in oil & gas, power, renewables, mining, and other natural resource industries. You’ll help clients navigate complex risks and opportunities unique to the energy sector. What Your Day Will Look Like

Support Account Executives and Associate Account Executives on energy and natural resources accounts, managing vital client service processes for organizations in oil & gas, power, renewables, and mining. Undertake client-facing and internal activities, ensuring the highest quality delivery for complex energy clients. Assist Brokers with Commercial Risk business, focusing on the unique exposures and insurance needs of energy and natural resources clients. Assemble and create submissions tailored to energy industry risks, facilitating the timely and accurate flow of information between clients and the account team. Respond to client requests and open items, including ad-hoc inquiries related to energy operations, regulatory requirements, and site-specific exposures. Gather and analyze data for stewardship reports and presentations, delivering insights specific to energy and natural resources risk management. Actively support and monitor the renewal process for energy sector policies; draft quote comparisons and follow up for binders, policies, and endorsements. Serve as the primary liaison with Aon Client Services and Premium Accounting on client billing matters, ensuring accuracy for complex energy accounts. Handle routine and sophisticated coverage inquiries and endorsement requests, including certificates, location additions, invoices, workers’ compensation posting notices, allocations, premium finance agreements, summaries of insurance, and policy transmittals. Monitor and follow up on invoice generation, fee agreements, receivables, and collections; address and resolve client problems promptly. Mentor less experienced account specialists and support staff, sharing knowledge of energy and natural resources insurance best practices. Skills That Will Lead to Success

Ability to build effective, positive relationships with clients in the energy and natural resources sector. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially for complex energy accounts. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain insurance solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders in the energy industry. Analytical mindset for interpreting risk data and market trends relevant to oil & gas, renewables, mining, and other natural resources. Education and Experience

5+ years of insurance experience required, ideally with exposure to energy, natural resources, or complex commercial accounts. Property & Casualty broker’s license preferred, or to be obtained within 120 days of start date. High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred. The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000. The actual salary will vary based on education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on geographic location. How We Support Our Colleagues
