Responsibilities
Research and identify potential school and district partners through outreach methods including calls, emails, and social media
Qualify leads and set appointments to connect prospects with Account Managers
Establish and maintain relationships with educators and administrators to promote Scholastic Reading Events
Manage a sales pipeline and maintain accurate records of interactions in the CRM system
Collaborate with the sales team to refine strategies and enhance lead generation efficiency
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail or district/territory sales, event management, or customer service
Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management software
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with peers and customers
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
Proven leadership ability and qualities demonstrated in previous roles
Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
