What to Expect Job Responsibilities
Research and identify potential school and district partners, initiating outreach through calls, emails, and social media
Qualify leads by understanding their needs and setting up appointments for Account Managers
Establish rapport with educators and administrators to emphasize the value of Scholastic Reading Events
Maintain accurate records of interactions and track progress toward sales goals in the CRM system
Collaborate with the sales team to enhance lead generation strategies and improve sales effectiveness
What is Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or related field
Minimum of three (3) years of successful sales experience in retail, district sales, event management, or customer service
Proficiency with MS Office software and experience with Sales Automation or Customer Relationship Management systems
Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities
Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and team members
How to Stand Out Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with children’s literature, Book Fairs, and school activities
Proven leadership abilities in previous roles
Experience in marketing and merchandising strategy and execution
