Sales Capability Specialist (Trainer) at
JD.COM We are seeking a bilingual (English/Chinese) Sales Trainer with a strong background in training sales teams in the supply chain/logistics industry. This role is a key member of the sales organization and supports expansion in North America.
Job Responsibilities
Enhance Sales Professional Competency: identify skill gaps within the US local sales team; design and implement training programs (product knowledge, sales techniques, customer management, etc.). Analyze sales data and performance metrics to continuously optimize training content and delivery methods.
Build Sales Recognition Program: design and drive sales incentive mechanisms (e.g., quarterly/annual excellence awards, honor badges) and help establish fair and transparent sales evaluation systems to motivate performance.
Organize Sales Team Building Activities: plan and execute regular team-building, cultural integration, and communication initiatives to foster cross-cultural collaboration. Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Service to develop localized training materials and toolkits.
Strengthen Customer-Facing Capabilities: partner with Operations and Customer Service to elevate client engagement standards, including customer tour processes and reception protocols. Develop high-quality customer interface materials (pitch scripts, proposal templates, account management workflows).
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales training, sales management, HR development, or related roles; familiarity with US sales team dynamics and practices.
Fluent in English and Mandarin; adept at cross-cultural communication.
Foundational data analysis skills; ability to refine training and incentive strategies using performance metrics.
Proven ability to collaborate across departments; strong project management and organizational skills.
Ownership mentality; able to drive projects autonomously in ambiguous environments.
Strong alignment with JD.com’s culture; mission-driven, execution-oriented, and results-focused.
Ability to collaborate effectively with China HQ while articulating ideas clearly locally.
