Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Carrier Sales Representative located in Houston, TX. The Carrier Sales Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring quality service delivery. Daily tasks include identifying potential carrier partners, managing carrier performance, and coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless transportation solutions. Additionally, the representative will monitor market trends to optimize shipping strategies and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Experience in sales, negotiation, and relationship‑building
Strong knowledge of the transportation and logistics industry
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
Proficiency in using transportation management systems and other relevant technology
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
Prior experience in carrier sales or freight brokerage is a plus
